The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT)
held a public hearing on April 19, 2018 for the
proposed improvements to I-295 at Collins Road
interchange in Duval County, Florida.
The FDOT is conducting a Project Development and
Environment (PD&E) Study to evaluate ramp widening
and intersection modifications at the I-295 and
Collins Road collector distributer system.
As of March 29, 2018, project documents will be
available for review at the Argyle Branch Library,
7973 Old Middleburg Rd S, Downtown, FL 32222.
Persons wishing to submit written comments may
do so at the public hearing or mail / email them to
the address provided no later than April 30, 2018.
Public participation is solicited without regard to race,
color, national origin, age, sex, religion, disability or
family status. Persons who require special accommodations
under the Americans with Disabilities Act or
persons who require translation services (free of
charge) should contact Michael Brock at the number
provided below, at least seven (7) days before the
public hearing.
The environmental review, consultation, and other
actions required by applicable federal environmental
laws for this project are being, or have been , carried
out by the FDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C.ยง 327 and a
Memorandum of Understanding dated March 14, 2016
and executed by the Federal Highway Administration
and FDOT.
