The sidewalks are closed in areas between Southwest 44th and 78th streets, west of Interstate 75, for repairs prior to the road being resurfaced. Pedestrians are directed to use the sidewalks on the opposite side of the road.

Traffic is now switched to the new northbound ramp and there are daytime and nighttime lane closures to finish paving. The speed limit is reduced to 60 mph on I-75 and semi-trucks are allowed to use the northbound inside lane approaching the Newberry Road interchange. The sidewalk on the south side of the overpass between the northbound and southbound exit ramps remains closed. Pedestrians are directed to use the sidewalk on the north side of the road.

County Road 125 (Manntown Bridge) Bridge Replacement Traffic Alert
January 28 - February 3, 2012:
The Manntown Bridge, just south of Interstate 10, is closed to all traffic for four months to accommodate bridge replacement. Traffic is detoured to Mud Lake Road (County Road 130), State Road 121, I-10 and back to CR 125.

Work to add a northbound right turn lane onto Bascom Norris Road is underway and utility companies are moving their utility lines off the east side of the road which should not impact traffic.
Interstate 75 at US 90 Routine Bridge Maintenance
January 28 - February 3, 2012:
Nighttime lane closures for up to two lanes of northbound traffic at the US 90 overpass in Lake City Monday through Thursday from 8:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. for routine bridge maintenance.
Interstate 75 Resurfacing from the Santa Fe River Bridge to US 441
January 28 - February 3, 2012:
Daytime lane closures for northbound traffic between the County Road 18 overpass and US 441 (Exit 414) to place the final layer of asphalt. Also, daytime lane closures for southbound traffic from south of US 41/441 (Exit 414) to the Alachua County line to place the final layer of asphalt on the inside lane and the southbound rest area ramps. The speed limit is reduced to 60 mph during lane closures. No lane closures allowed from Friday at 6 a.m. through Sunday at 9 p.m.
Interstate 75 traffic impacts
January 28 - February 3, 2012:
The on and off ramps at the I-10 interchange may be closed for resurfacing beginning Sunday night through Wednesday night from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. each day. Detour signs will be posted. The schedule is:
- Sunday night I-10 westbound to I-75 northbound closed. Detour is County Road 137 (Exit 292), re-enter I-10 and exit to I-75 northbound (Exit 296B). This adds eight miles to the trip.
- Monday night I-10 westbound to I-75 southbound closed. Detour is I-75 northbound to State Road 136 (Exit 439), re-enter I-75 southbound. This adds eight miles to the trip.
- Tuesday night I-75 southbound to I-10 eastbound and westbound closed. Detour is I-75 southbound to US 90 (Exit 427) and re-enter I-75 northbound back to either I-10 eastbound or westbound. This adds 16 miles to the trip.
- Wednesday night I-75 southbound to I-10 westbound closed. Detour is I-10 eastbound to US 41 (Exit 301) and re-enter I-10 westbound. This adds 10 miles to the trip.
- Thursday night I-75 southbound to I-10 eastbound closed. Detour is I-10 westbound to County Road 137 (Exit 292), re-enter I-10 eastbound. This adds eight miles to the trip.
All of the planned closures are subject to be rescheduled due to bad weather or other conditions.

Dames Point Bridge Maintenance Traffic Impacts
January 28 - February 3, 2012:
One southbound and one northbound lane will be closed permanently for construction activities until near the end of the project. A second southbound lane will be closed between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 2 for a routine bridge inspection. Two lanes in each direction may be closed nightly between 7:30 p.m. and 6 a.m. from Sunday, January 29 through Saturday, February 4. This work should finish this spring.
I-10 Pavement Improvements between Stockton Street and Lane Avenue Traffic Alert
January 28 - February 3, 2012:
Eastbound and westbound lanes will be closed nightly between 6:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. from Sunday, January 29 through Thursday, February 2. Ramp closings may occur between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. from Sunday, January 29 through Thursday, February 2. Detour signs will be posted. Pavement repairs are ongoing. This project is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2012.
I-10 Resurfacing and Widening from Lane Avenue to State Road 23 Traffic Alert
January 28 - February 3, 2012:
The I-10 eastbound exit to Chaffee Road WILL BE TOTALLY CLOSED between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. on the nights of Wednesday, February 1 and Thursday, February 2. Detour signs will be posted. The Chaffee Road northbound and southbound ramp to I-10 westbound WILL BE TOTALLY CLOSED between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. on the nights of Monday, January 30 and Tuesday, January 31. Detour signs will be posted. The Chaffee road northbound and southbound ramp to I-10 eastbound WILL BE TOTALLY CLOSED between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. on the nights of Friday, February 3 and Saturday, February 4. Detour signs will be posted. Asphalt paving operations will be underway during these closures. Eastbound lane closings may occur between 7:30 p.m. and 5 a.m. from Sunday, January 30 through Thursday, February 2 and westbound lane closings may occur between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. from Sunday, January 30 through Thursday, February 2. This project is scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2012.
I-295/Collins Road Interchange Construction Traffic Impacts
January 28 - February 3, 2012:
Lanes will be closed in both directions on I-295 near Blanding Boulevard between 7 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. nightly on Sunday, January 29 and Monday, January 30. The on ramp from Blanding Boulevard to I-295 southbound WILL BE TOTALLY CLOSED on the night of Monday, January 30 from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Detour signs will be posted. The project should be finished in late 2013.
I-295/SR 9A sign conversion Traffic Impacts
January 28 - February 3, 2012:
Lanes will be closed in both directions nightly at various locations on SR 9A from Town Center Parkway to Merrill Road, on Beach Boulevard from St. Johns Bluff Road to Beachwood Boulevard and on Atlantic Boulevard from Cortez Road to St. Johns Bluff Road. The closings will occur from Sunday, January 29 through Friday, February 3 from 7:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. This project should be finished by the spring of 2012.
I-95 Pavement Improvements between Atlantic Blvd. and J. Turner Butler Blvd. Traffic Alert
January 28 - February 3, 2012:
Lanes will be closed nightly in both directions from Sunday, January 29 through Thursday, February 2. Single lanes and ramps will be closed between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. and double lanes between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. This project should be finished by early 2013.

Daytime lane closings in both directions will occur within the project limits between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. from Monday, January 30 through Friday, February 3. This project should be finished in the spring of 2012.
Mathews Bridge Repainting and Repair Project Traffic Alerts
January 28 - February 3, 2012:
Both eastbound lanes on the bridge will be closed from 9 p.m. on Sunday, January 29 until 6 a.m. on Monday, January 30, from 7 p.m. on Monday, January 30 until to 6 a.m. on Tuesday, January 31. Both westbound lanes on the bridge will be closed between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. on the nights of Tuesday, January 31 and Thursday, February 2 and from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. on the night of Wednesday, February 1. The bridge WILL BE COMPLETELY CLOSED from 7 p.m. on Friday, January 27 until 6 a.m. on Sunday, January 29 and from 7 p.m. on Friday, February 3 until 6 a.m. on Sunday, January 5. Detour traffic will use the Arlington Expressway, Cesery Boulevard to merge with University Boulevard and Atlantic Boulevard to the Hart Bridge. This project should be finished by the summer of 2014.
Normandy Blvd. Pavement Repairs from Pine St. to the Jacksonville Equestrian Center Traffic Alert
January 28 - February 3, 2012:
Lanes will be closed at various locations within the project limits between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. and between 8 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. from Monday, January 30 through Saturday, February 4 for concrete paving and drainage work. Two-way traffic will be maintained using flaggers. This project will be finished in the summer of 2012.
Normandy Blvd. Resurfacing between Herlong Rd. and the Jacksonville Equestrian Center Traffic Alert

Eastbound and westbound lane closings will occur next week from Monday, January 30 through Thursday, February 2 between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Work in the medians and resurfacing activities are occurring. This project should be completed by this spring.

Single lanes in each direction may be closed nightly from Sunday, January 29 through Thursday, February 2 between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. for construction of the new SR 9B segment. Nightly lane closings on SR 9A are expected to continue until the end of the project. The new SR 9B section connecting Philips Highway and SR 9A should open in the fall of 2012.

The southbound agricultural inspection station at mile marker 446 is closed until February while a new station is built. All livestock is redirected to the FDOT weigh station at mile marker 451 which is north of the closed agricultural inspection station.
