North Florida Roads

The Florida Department of Transportation began construction on a bike trail along County Road 354 from US 27 east of Mayo to State Road 51 at the Hal Adams Bridge and then on State Road 51 north to the parking entrance of the Hal Adams Bridge boat ramp (6.7 miles). Crews will build a 12-foot wide asphalt bike or pedestrian path on the east and north sides of CR 354 and SR 51. John C. Hipp Construction Equipment Company of Alachua should begin work May 30, 2012 and finish by late 2012 at a cost of $1,131,454.
