Interstate 10/Interstate 95 Interchange Reconstruction

The I-10/I-95 Interchange from Stockton Street and the Fuller Warren Bridge to Adams Street is currently under construction. The project will not only increase the capacity of the Interchange but will also eliminate many of the current cross-lane weaving movements that drivers must negotiate as they use the current interchange. A Florida Department of Transportation project to widen and improve 8.2 miles of I-10 from Lane Avenue to east of Halsema Road began in January 2009. The $58 million construction project involves widening I-10 from four to six lanes from I-295 to east of Halsema Road. Construction is scheduled to be complete in the spring of 2012.
