A FDOT project to mill and resurface State Road 45 (U.S. 27) from north of West Newberry Road (State Road 26) to State Road 25 (U.S. 441) is underway.
The project includes milling and resurfacing, base work, shoulder treatment, sidewalks/bicycle path, highway signing, traffic signals and other incidental construction.
Anderson Columbia Co., Inc. was awarded the $7.2 million project.
Traffic will be maintained in accordance with FDOT design standards throughout the project. Work will typically occur during the day, Monday through Friday.
