State Road 200 at Police Lodge Road Proposed Median Modification
Overview

This project proposes median modifications on State Road 200 in Nassau County, where Three Rivers Developers, LLC has requested a permit to develop the Tributary Community Development District for residential use.

To maintain safety and manage access at the proposed community entrance, the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) would require the developer to construct a directionalized median at the intersection of State Road 200 and Police Lodge Road to meet current FDOT median opening spacing standards. Drivers traveling westbound on State Road 200 would be able to turn left onto Police Lodge Road. Drivers exiting Police Lodge Road would be restricted to right turns only. The project also includes the construction of a U-turn crossover approximately 1,200 feet east of Police Lodge Road.

These modifications are intended to enhance traffic operations and improve safety along the State Road 200 corridor. Construction of the project will be fully funded by the developer at no cost to taxpayers.

If you have questions or comments about the proposed median, please contact Maintenance Program Engineer, Jason Quijano, at (904) 360-5458, Jason.Quijano@dot.state.fl.us or by mail at 2198 Edison Avenue MS 2801, Jacksonville, FL 32204-2730.
